Man oh man! These two. This little family they have created. Little miss Addison. One of my favorites for sure! I’ve been friends with these guys for a while – Tunie is one woman I refuse to let myself become out of touch with since high school because she is quite literally one of the most kind-hearted, generous and hilarious ladies I know. And who is more perfect for her than Dustin?! Watching him from behind my lens the whole day…the pure look of happiness on his face when he looked at Tunie was so heartwarming.
One thing I absolutely LOVE is when the couple decides to do a “first look”. For those that don’t know, this is when the bride & groom see each other for the first time before the ceremony and share a quiet moment together. To be a fly on the wall and be able to capture these expressions and the emotion is my absolute favorite (check out that smile on Dustins face!)
Tunie & Dustin have actually *technically* been married since 2013 – it just took them 2 years to plan a serious party to celebrate ;) Luckily (because you never know with Vermont weather) it was a gorgeous, warm, sunny mid-October day when the celebration finally came. The deck of the Sunset Ballroom provided an overlook of Lake Champlain and the NY Adirondack Mountains that served as a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Later, during dinner & speeches, floor to ceiling windows gave us view of the sun setting as it threw an array of colors across the sky.
Thank you Tunie & Dustin for having me along to hang out and capture your day for you! xo
