Kelly + Michael: Unique Intimate Art Gallery Wedding at Machines with Magnets, Providence Rhode Island

Kelly + Michael were married in the beginning of November and they were our 2nd to last wedding of 2017. I was so excited to ‘unofficially’ end my season (NYE wedding will be shared next!) with these two! They are the most perfect, fun-loving, laid back people and all throughout the day I kept reminding myself how awesome it is to be able to meet and work with people like this.

We started with just a couple of the getting ready photos with Kelly at Hotel Providence before heading over to the ceremony, where about 30 of the couples closest friends + family were waiting to witness the marriage. The ceremony + reception was held at Machines with Magnets, which is an art gallery, music venue + experimental recording studio in Pawtucket, RI. It was super unique and refreshing to capture a wedding in such an untraditional space, and it fit the vibe of the couple and their day perfectly. After the ceremony, we all boarded a trolley and headed in Providence to take photos at the State House. Kelly, Mike and their whole families together had us laughing the whole time – such a fun family!

When we arrived back at MWM, about 100 more of the couples friends and extended family were waiting to kick off the party! I loved the set up of the day – such a great idea to keep things light, fun, and without rush. Everyone enjoyed cocktail hour for a short period, and then were gathered into the dance floor room where the first dance, parents dances, and toasts were all kicked off. After that – there was a ton of delicious food + hors d’oeuvres (including sushi!!) and TONS of dancing!
