Erin + Paul were married on July 1st at Erin’s family’s STUNNING private property in Ferrisburg, Vermont. If you are in New England, you may recall what a RAINY start to summer we had. Well, Erin + Pauls wedding ended up being on one of those aggressively rainy days. They didn’t let it stop them though! The couple still had the wedding of their dreams with all of their friends + family by their side. That’s all that matters, right?!
I cannot say enough about the amazing job Erin did planning her + Paul’s perfect day. The attention to detail was incredible – everything was personalized! From the champagne bottles, to Pauls tie (which had a little reminder of where he proposed sewed onto it), the bridesmaids/groomsmen/parents gifts, Erins bouquet/jewelry…even the cocktail hour had different personal themed rooms! It was so cool to see the personality of the couple shine so bright all throughout the day.
This wedding was one I had been looking forward to for a while – I had known Erin since grade school and share many memories with her from childhood birthday parties to cheerleading (the one year I participated – ha!) and softball. She’s always been one of those gals that I could easily re-connect with, and it was so fun to work together in our adult life and bounce ideas off each other leading up to the day. Paul also went to our high school, however him & Erin didn’t connect and start dating until ironically they met out at a bar and recognized each other in North Carolina (where they were both living). The rest is history ;)
Although no one wishes for rain on their wedding day, Erin + Paul totally rocked it and made the absolute best of their day. We had a window of gorgeous light where we rushed out to do photos on the property. Once the reception started the rain picked back up and E+P decided to embrace it and LITERALLY dance in the rain. It was beautiful..and quite honestly one of the most memorable first dances I’ve ever photographed.
Erin + Paul, congratulations on the start of your life as Mr. + Mrs. Can’t wait to watch the family grow! ;)
